According to Nick Young, who was speaking on a recent episode ofVLAD TV,the former Los Angeles Lakers and Warriors guard would like to see LeBron and Durant head to the Bay Area in the near future to team up with Curry and challenge for a championship together. “I think all three of them need to come together,” Young said. “That’d be good. I don’t see him [Curry] leaving the Warriors so that’s why it could be [in the Bay]. But they are playing on the USA Team together this year … One last hurrah… If I’m Bron, I’m rolled up, already lit. I got the five lines in front of me,” Garnett added. “I got the phones out right here. I got KD on one line, I got CP on one line. I got Steph on one line. And we catching up. This is the first time I think that all the old superstars can actually be on one team and go out with a hurrah.”

A Double Class Category 2 by me…
First: @dpshow doing a great job by trying to nail Reggie down on this blatant shot at LeBron.
Second: Reggie then running from any accountability on what was an obvious shot.

Now, does LeBron’s more alpha personality add a layer of complication? Yes. But if they’re thinking about this practically and logically, the Lakers should absolutely be tailoring this coach more to AD than LeBron, if there’s a choice to be made. AK – 1:45 PM

More on this storyline
During his recent appearance on Inside the NBA, Green took another jab at the Bosnian player. “The Suns have no big man… KD [Kevin Durant] is the Suns’ big man. They got no big man,” Green said, pointedly omitting Nurkic from the conversation, as reported by Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints. -via BasketNews / May 14, 2024
And Sunday, on a day when mothers are celebrated globally, Wanda Durant beams with pride. She isn’t just Kevin’s mother; she’s a legitimate voice in and outside the NBA, partially because of the ringing endorsem*nt Kevin gave Wanda during an eight-minute-plus podium appearance 10 years ago. “Mama Durant,” as she is affectionally called by many, is a motivational speaker. She’s an entrepreneur and a champion for the underserved. Wanda is still referred to as “The Real MVP.” “It catapulted me, to be quite honest. I was not expecting that outcome,” she said of the speech. “It’s given me a platform that I did not expect, that I’m grateful for.” -via The Athletic / May 12, 2024
She believes it was the delivery. There was “no fluff,” she said. It was genuine. Kevin’s tearful words of appreciation struck a chord with basketball fans and non-fans. “Even to this day, it still warms my heart,” Wanda said. “I’ll say probably eight out of 10 people that recognize me as his mom always mention the speech and how much it resonated with them because it reminds them of their journey and their mom. It’s surprising and somewhat surreal that it still has the impact today that it had 10 years ago.” -via The Athletic / May 12, 2024
Windhorst’s reporting proceeded to reveal that James and his wife, Savannah, were in Northeast Ohio for Mother’s Day and opted to stay for Monday’s matchup at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The couple were the guests of Cavs owner Dan Gilbert, with James’ agent, Rich Paul, informing the Lakers that he’d be attending his former team’s game. -via Awful Announcing / May 14, 2024
Brian Windhorst got a taste of his own medicine when LeBron James curiously decided to attend the Eastern Conference Semifinals matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics. With the four-time MVP weeks away from potentially hitting free agency following his sixth season with the Los Angeles Lakers, many took note of him attending his former team’s game, which resulted in Windhorst receiving an all-too-familiar meme in his inbox. -via Awful Announcing / May 14, 2024
“All of the executives in the league are all in Chicago. It’s one big giant rumor mill in there. And I’ve got executives sending me — multiple of them — my own meme back to me going, ‘What’s going on in Cleveland?’” Windhorst said on ESPN’s Get Up on Tuesday. “And so I had to try to find out what’s going on in Cleveland.” -via Awful Announcing / May 14, 2024
Ramona Shelburne: “Let’s see what they’re able to pull off. They’re going to have to get creative, they’re going to have to work hard for it. I don’t see any world in which they trot back out the same team and hope it goes better. I think they make some changes and try to get this team better. You just don’t have a guy like Steph Curry on your team and a mediocre cast around him. You just don’t do that.” -via NBC Sports Bay Area / May 11, 2024
ClutchPoints: “Has [Jalen Brunson] become the best point guard in the NBA with his performances in the playoffs so far?” Draymond Green: “F*ck no. Steph Curry in the NBA. Dude, are you crazy? What? Come on.” (via @TheVolumeSports) pic.twitter.com/t0JsIz5zis -via Twitter @ClutchPointsApp / May 9, 2024
