Brilliant vibe and excellent food. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Decor is top quality!!

This a nice and pretty quiet pub if you fancy one of the best pints of Guinness in the world and it’s only 10 mins walk from the Guinness storehouse. Would recommend the food as well as there’s a diner in the pub but it’s on the pricier side. It’s a cheap pint too at around €6. Only complaint was not their fault but there was a woman in there that was giving me and my partner dirty looks I’m not sure why but it seemed to be because we were an interracial couple but this is no fault of the pub.

Lovely spot, we stopped in for a quick drink en route to the Guinness storehouse. Great barman, very cool interior. Bonus points for the feminine hygiene facilities available in the toilets.

Here at John’s, we are known as The Home of Guinness for a reason!. Strolling distance from the Guinness Storehouse, we guarantee the freshest, creamiest pints, and world-class spirits, served up by our friendly team of an expert bartender. Thomas Street has a history of distilling, a history of tailoring and a history of being the original home of a pint of plain.

Went here the other night with a few friends before a show. The pub was lovely and warm, staff were very friendly and nice. There was live music which was really good. There's a wow burger in the back! In general a great vibe about the place. Definitely will be back!

The host is a very welcoming person. The bar is classicly Irish as well as good Irish music and Irish drinks are a staple here. Unfortunately the food is American burgers and fries.
