This makes it the fourth country in the world to achieve a soft-landing on the moon! The other three countries with such an achievement are the U.S., Russia, and China! Of course, these aren't the only countries on the playing field. Read more about why countries are racing to the moon here, or read more about the Chandrayaan-3's successful landing, here!

To wrap up our #TechtivitiesOfTheMonth, here is a fun #TechFact!

Did you know that on September 9, 1947, the team at Harvard University found that the Mark II ran into many errors? The bug was an actual moth in their hardware, a real computer bug! (Source)

This was not the first use of the term ‘bug’ to describe errors. While the exact origin of the term is not clear, already in the 19th century, Thomas Edison often used the term, such as in a 1878 letter, referring to a glitch in his telephone apparatus. (Source)

If you haven’t seen our previous techtivity recommendations, check out our May #TechtivitiesOfTheMonth, which includes more cool tech-related activities you can do with friends and family!
